The 1952 Tom and Jerry cartoon "Johann Mouse" begins, "This is the story of a waltzing mouse. His name was Johann and he lived in Vienna in the home of Johann Strauss."

The cartoon features Johann Strauss II’s Tritsch-Tratsch Polka, along with the Blue Danube and Emperor Waltzes.
