In this February 1981 edition of This is My Music, Lloyd Moss interviews singer and actress Barbara Cook. Cook talks about how she got her start in musical theater, being cast in the original Broadway production of Leonard Bernstein's Candide and her first appearance at Carnegie Hall, while sharing some of her favorite musical selections.

This is My Music was a long-running WQXR program that featured interviews with well-known celebrities, artists, writers, performers, academics and politicians who also shared their favorite pieces of music. Among the shows guests were Gore Vidal, Benny Goodman, Eartha Kitt, Bella Abzug, Rudolph Giuliani, Tony Bennett, Gloria Vanderbilt, Marcel Marceau and Barbara Cook, to name just a few.
