Exclusive Interview with Eric Jacobsen of The Knights Chamber Orchestra

Monday, May 03, 2010

The Knights was borne out of a love of music -- musicians met up to play together in their free time -- and the ensemble expanded from there. Rather than a top-down bureaucratic managment style, the Knights value the creative input of all of their members. Jacobsen describes the quirky performers and evnues the ensemble has experienced throughout the years.

Rather than feeling the need to distinguish themselves from the other popular chamber orchestras in New York, Jacobsen is exicted that The Knights can add to the richness of the musical spectrum with their own unique style. Find out how The Knights build a program and what's coming up on their next recording.
