I first heard Sandra R in a "live" Met performance of Verdi's I Vespri Siciliani and have been hooked, addicted and struck by the brilliance of her voice. This is one singer I would buy a ticket to hear anywhere. Her Tosca reminds me of one other great in the role, my first Tosca - Teresa Zylis-Gara.
My heart is panting waiting to see her performance as Leonora in IL Trovatore being brought to movie theaters around the world in April.
All the best for I know she will soar there also.

I feel so privileged to have been present at the Met for Saturday's TOSCA matinee ... I never heard Callas either, but I cannot imagine that I will ever hear and see a greater performance of the role: sensitive acting, charming appearance and absolutely splendid crystalline passionate nuanced singing. And she met a worthy opponent in this Scarpia, Falk Struckman. In fact all the performances were so excellent that they almost made it possible to overlook the asinine bits of business (especially Act II opening) and boring staging in this forgettable production. A sublime TOSCA - Radvanovsky belongs up there with the greatest names ... including THAT one!

Charming interview show. Then a very moving "Vissi d'arte" on the WQXR broadcast. Congratulations to SONDRA RADVANOVSKY - a brilliant TOSCA for the ages.

Just exquisite. Heard you on WQXR on Jan.23, and in live broadcast today. Although I have heard many Toscas, none has surpassed yours, and I'm looking forward to seeing you on stage.

Congratulations !

I heard you on WQXR. Your Tosca is wonderful. Your comments on Maria Callas
could not have been better expressed by anybody, including me. Not only do you fearlessly voice your opinion, obviously you are setting the highest standards for yourself
and work on it as you progress as an artist as well. My best wishes are with you. I was not lucky enough to see Maria in person. But with you I still am in luck.

SONDRA RADVANOVSKY's Tosca from what I have heard is a cross between a Callas's acting and a Tebaldi's singing. We wish her fulfilling success in her career!!! It is the privilege and duty for all artists to study their predecessor's work, to sense its virtues and to incorporate one's own personal individualistic approach. THIS IS TRUE for opera singers, composers, painters and sculptors, writers, actors, athletes, politicians, teachers and anyone who seeks to improve their oeuvre.
