The New York Philharmonic play in Central Park The New York Philharmonic play in Central Park (Chris Lee)

This week, the New York Philharmonic is taking the show on the road--or at least to parks around the city--for a series of free concerts.

We’d like to see your photos from the shows: Did you go with a group of friends? Did you have a beautiful picnic spread? Did you have a great view of the orchestra or of the skyline?

Post your pictures and help WQXR document one the city’s great summer traditions.

Pictures of people in the thralldom of harmonies that accord with their own pysche. That's HEAVEN!
Whatever music "turns you on" the setting of a communal empathy and enjoyment with fellow music lovers, no matter what the format, is the ideal setting for unity, for a real United Nations. Here in New York, we have the greatest diversity of people and ideas and activities that go beyond our jobs or professions and our own families. Bryant Park, back of our Main Library at 42nd Street and Fifth Avenue, to those out of towners is a thriving area with people eating at tables and on the lawn and conversing on just about everything and everyone.
