WQXR's Washington Report

Monday, October 26, 2009

This week, President Obama will meet with his national security team twice in the White House to discuss troop levels in Afghanistan. Also in Washington this week, the Senate is debating a bill aimed at reducing pollution caused by global warming.

On today's Washington Report, New York Times chief Washington correspondent David Sanger joined WQXR's Jeff Spurgeon to talk about President Obama's stance on Afghanistan.

Sanger also reported on whether or not Congress will pass a global warming bill in time for December's climate change convention in Copenhagen.
