Legendary Journalist Daniel Schorr Dies at 93

Journalist Daniel Schorr (1916-2010) (Alex Wong/Newsmakers)

Schorr, an award-winning journalist who reported on many of the most important stories of the second half of the 20th century, including the Cold War and Watergate and worked on the launch of CNN, has died. He recently appeared on The Takeaway to talk about how the news business has changed.

I am sorry to hear about Mr. Schorr. GOD Bless him and may he rest in peace.

He had such a refreshing, strong and wise voice, very distinctive. I will miss his voice and immense knowledge of politics and society in general.

Journalism without Mr. Daniel Schorr will be like Heaven without Archangel Michael. Mr. Daniel Schorr was indeed a warrior for truth.
