WQXR presents a special, Web-exclusive interview with Robert Spano, Music Director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

Robert Spano is known to many New Yorkers for his adventurous programming during his years as Music Director of the Brooklyn Philharmonic.

Now the Music Director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Spano returns to the city for a concert in Carnegie Hall with the cellist Yo-Yo Ma. The concert is part of Carnegie’s "Ancient Paths, Modern Voices: A Festival Celebrating Chinese Culture." He joins Terrance McKnight in the studio to talk about it.
