The concert was superb. However, when the entire orchestra ended the evening in song, it was truly as testament to the Hungarian music education established by Zoltan Kodaly. The singing was musical and captivated the audience! These are all complete musicians. The Budapest Festival Orchestra is a national treasure. BRAVO!!!!

Was the encore recorded? I was and continue to be stunned at its perfect balance, intonation and ensemble work.

That's funny about the triangle being featured up front. That was the first instrument I ever played in the school band (1970's). I was so far in the back, I was lucky I could see the conductor. :)
