Thousands of people will take to the streets on Sunday to run in the New York City Marathon. And we’re running a little marathon of our own: Beginning at 9 am on Sunday, hear all nine Beethoven symphonies played in order. It's one more reason to shout, "Oh joy!," by the end of the race.

You'll hear performances by the London Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre Revolutionnaire et Romantique, Cleveland Orchestra and the Philadelphia Orchestra, among other ensembles.

Do you know someone running in the marathon? Email your dedications to and host Paul Cavalconte may read them on-air during Sunday's marathon.

Have really enjoyed the programming today of all the Beethoven symphonies. Hope you do it again - at least yearly.

Thanks for the music.
