From March 28 through April 7, WQXR hosted an Instrument Drive. Generous music lovers donated their gently used musical instruments at drop off locations in New York City, Northern New Jersey, Westchester and Long Island. Working with Sam Ash Music Stores and the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, WQXR is repairing the instruments and will distribute them to deserving music programs in New York City Public Schools.
