Don’t Miss: Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection," July 9
The thundering fortissimo blasts of Mahler’s “Resurrection” Symphony will echo through the Berkshire Hills of Western Massachusetts when the Boston Symphony Orchestra opens its annual summer season at Tanglewood. Music director James Levine, still recovering from back surgery in April, is slated to lead the concert. Health willing, he’s also scheduled to return later in the summer for yet more Mahler: his Symphones No. 3 (July 17) and No. 4 (July 31).
